Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Hivvy at usehivvy.com. By creating an account or using Hivvy, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Hivvy is an all-in-one platform that helps creatives and freelancers build a portfolio, send proposals and invoices, manage clients, and get paid. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for your account and keeping your login secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Hivvy for unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, or harmful purposes.
• Upload content you don't have the rights to, or that violates others' rights.
• Abuse, disrupt, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.

You are responsible for the content you publish and for how you handle any client information you store in Hivvy.

Your content

You own the content you create. You grant Hivvy a limited licence to host, store, and display it as needed to operate the service (for example, to publish your portfolio at its public link). You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.

Plans & payments

• Hivvy offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan (₦3,000/month or ₦30,000/year), billed via OPay.
• Pro is purchased as a one-time charge for the chosen period; access is time-boxed and does not auto-renew from a stored card — you renew when you choose.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable notice.
• Free-plan and Pro AI usage is subject to fair-use limits shown in the app.

Referrals

Our referral program may reward you a percentage of payments made by creatives you refer to Pro. We may change or end the program, and we may withhold rewards we believe result from fraud or abuse.

AI features

AI-generated drafts may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI output before you use or send it.

Termination

You can stop using Hivvy at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create risk for Hivvy or its users.

Disclaimers & liability

Hivvy is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hivvy is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for amounts exceeding what you paid us in the prior 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
